Gathering for No Reason
I'm inviting a handful of women over 50 to my home in Queen Creek for a little experiment.
No carefully planned program. No particular outcome in mind. Just an opportunity to get together, enjoy one another's company, and see what happens.

I'd love to tell you a little about what I'm imagining. Press play and hear it from me.
What if there's more to life than you've been led to believe?
Maybe you've begun questioning some of the things you've always believed about yourself.
Maybe you're realizing you don't have to keep being who everyone expects you to be.
Or maybe you're simply enjoying this season of life, curious about what's possible, and appreciating conversations that make you think.
You don't have to be searching for something, working through something, or trying to become someone different.
You can simply enjoy being who you are.
Love a good conversation that takes an unexpected turn?
You might enjoy sitting at this table.
A little conversation. A little laughter. Maybe a new friendship or a fresh perspective. Or simply a lovely morning spent in the company of other women.
What if you didn't have to be anyone but yourself?
No roles to play. No one to impress. No expectations to live up to.
Come as who you are.
Pull up a chair and join the conversation. Or find a comfortable spot on the couch and enjoy being in the room.
Bring your knitting, a book to read, your needlepoint, or just yourself. Talk, listen, laugh, create, contemplate, or simply be.
There's no expectation that you share your story, have something insightful to contribute, or participate in any particular way.
No expectations. No performance required.
No agenda. No assignments. No idea where the conversation will go.
Sounds like a good reason to gather!
This is our very first Gathering for No Reason.
We're experimenting together. I'm curious about what might happen when women come together without a prescribed program or outcome.
Maybe we'll have some wonderful conversations. Maybe we'll discover something interesting about ourselves or each other. Maybe we'll simply enjoy a morning together.
I don't know.
That's why I want to try it!
Things you might be wondering...
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable! Jeans, shorts, leggings, a favorite casual outfit—whatever feels like you. Think relaxed, everyday clothes, not business casual or dressed up.
Come in whatever you'd wear to spend a comfortable morning visiting at a friend's house.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself! But you're welcome to bring your knitting, a book, a journal, or something creative to work on.
And bring your favorite drink to enjoy while we're visiting, if you'd like. I'll have bottled water available.
I'll have some paper, pens, and coloring supplies, too.
What if I don't know anyone?
That's okay! This is our first Gathering, so we're all starting somewhere.
What if I'm not much of a talker?
Perfectly fine. You can join the conversation, listen, or simply enjoy being around other women. Nobody's going to put you on the spot.
Is this a class or a workshop?
Nope! No teaching, presentations, exercises, or assignments.
Is this a networking event?
No. This isn't a place to promote your business, sell products or services, or look for clients.
What if the conversation gets deep?
Wonderful. And if it doesn't, that's okay, too. We can enjoy meaningful conversations without having to make every moment profound.
Can I come early?
Please do, if you'd like! I'm planning to open the doors at 9:00 AM so you can settle in, get comfortable, and enjoy some time before we officially begin at 10:00.
What if I'm having such a good time I don't want to leave?
Well, that's part of the experiment! You're welcome to linger a little after our 11:30 ending time.
What if I can't make this date?
There's a place below to let me know you're interested in future Gatherings. You can also tell me which days and times tend to work best for you.
Where exactly is it?
At my home in Queen Creek, Arizona, near Meridian and Ocotillo. I'll send the exact address after you've registered.
How much does it cost?
$20 per woman. Your seat is reserved once payment is complete. For this first Gathering, we're keeping it small, so seats are limited.
Why is there a $20 registration fee?
Think of it as your commitment to yourself to actually show up!
Your $20 reserves your place at the table and gives you a little extra nudge to follow through on that moment when you thought, "That sounds like fun. I'm going!"
Because sometimes the biggest adventure is simply getting yourself out the door.
What if I register and then can't attend?
Registration is nonrefundable. Please let me know if your plans change so I can offer your seat to another woman. We can also explore applying your registration toward a future Gathering.
Come early. Stay late. Let's see what happens.
